For Virgin Airlines fliers who travel frequently, 24.7MIXX is a new online music channel that allows subscribers to play music anywhere. Unlike most other music streaming services, 24.7MIXX continuously streams music even in the aircraft.

THE CONCEPT

Imagine a music streaming service, tailored entirely to the Virgin America passenger. What does it look like? How does it function? How do you like a service that crosses many platforms including the flight entertainment?

THE RESEARCH

Researching the brand personality and competitive landscape. Exploring the style via moodboard and sketches.

	Brand Personality I sketched out Virgin Mobile and its potential competitors' brand personality to find out where 24.7Mixx should stand and how much personality it should inherit from its mother brand and what's new for itself.

Logo Sketch Based on the research, I sketched out hundreds of ideas and tested with classmates and instructors until I found the one that best fits the brand and delivers the message of Mixx.

	Styletile Considering the logo sketches and moodboards, I developed a styletile that unifies the visual experiences across different platforms.

THE EXPERIENCE

	For You During the onboarding process, users will designate which genres and artists they most enjoy. As soon as they log into the application, they can view music featured by the application that best suits their likes.
	Log In & Register Users can log in using their phone numbers; later, they can manage which devices are allowed at the Virgin America website.

	Now Playing Users can navigate their current playlist by swiping up, swiping down brings them back to the last page they visited.

Local Radio - An auditory sense of where you are.
When your airplane flies over a new area, local music will begin broadcasting.

	Local Radio When I interviewed potential users, many of them expressed their excitement when they visit new places. At the same time, they are fearful that they know nothing of the place they'll be visiting. Therefore, a radio station to play local music will help the user better connect to their environment through music.
	Log In The application will register which flight is checked in under your name. 24.7 Mixx allows multiple users on any one account, if you have friends or family flying alongside you, all of you can enjoy the service provided.
