THE IMPACT
PrivacyButler gives activists in America the ability to freely express their opinions without the fear of being targeted or unlawfully suppressed. PrivacyButler offers activists a private channel to publish a variety of posts on social media, tools to obscure other activists’ or victims’ faces, and technology to hide personal contact information.
My process in the field:
THE CONCEPT
Through social media, where most activists speak up, PrivacyButler obscures faces in shared photos, shares posts and follows people anonymously, and reminds them to privatize their personal information on their social media accounts. It automates many security practices frequently ignored.
